Corona virus pandemic has started to spread unprecedentedly in India since the early days of April. More than 100 thousand Covid-19 positive cases were detected in a single day in India on Sunday.

In the last 24 hours, 103 thousands 5 hundred and 58 people were found positive. The data is the highest since the first Covid-19 virus in India was confirmed last year. 

Along with this, the total number of Covid infected in India has reached 12.5 million and 89 thousands. Similarly, the death toll caused by the Corona virus has climbed up to 165 thousands 1 hundred and 1 when added the 478 people killed in the last 24 hours there.

Covid-19 has been spreading more rapidly in the provinces like Maharastra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh etc. The Maharastra government has declared lockdown for a week from 8 pm to 8 am. In the same way, Udisha has also announced curfew at night from 10 pm to 5 am.  

Nepal and India have open boarders. Experts of pandemic diseases are worried for what if Nepal falls into the similar situation.
